From what you wear while you sleep, the temperature of your bedroom, how much your partner snores to whether you watch TV or use any electronic device that plays a role in your sleep. But most important of all, the one that's most important for a good night's sleep is a good mattress.

Divide with your old mattress

If your mattress is older than the age of seven then it is a good time to start checking if it provides you with quality sleep and the support your body needs. A mattress will relieve the pressure on your joints and body and most importantly will not cause you pain. As the years go by and our mattress ages it gradually loses the above ability. So gradually that it is very easy to understand nothing. You may need to do a little detective to put the pieces together and figure out what's going on. Your hips hurt and you are not comfortable with anything at bedtime so you wake up tired. Add to this the fact that your mattress has been purchased for over 7 years and you are very close to the solution. It's not your body's fault but your mattress is heading towards retirement. Back pain is one of the biggest signs that the time for change has come.

Looking for the ideal

When you are ready to replace your mattress, it makes a lot of sense not to know what to look for or where to look. There are a variety of options regarding mattresses with different materials, construction technology, how much money we want to spend and of course the needs they cover. The choice of mattress is subjective and this is very important to have in mind before you go to try any mattress. Start blocking options and filtering to end up with 2-3 layers that make up your body.

Mattresses with springs

Spring mattresses use a system of connected springs or independent springs. The number of springs, density or thickness may vary. All mattresses of this type contain other materials such as foam, fabric, microfiber, felt which give the final shape and feel. In any case, the more springs such a mattress construction has, the better the support and durability will be.

Mattresses with Pillow top

These mattresses have an extra layer of materials over the main mattress which are sewn together and give the appearance of a pillow sewn onto the mattress. Provides extra comfort and makes the mattress a little softer.

Hybrids mattresses

A hybrid layer combines the spring system with various types of foam, Memory Foam or Latex mainly on one side as a built-in top layer.

Mattresses without springs

These mattresses do not have a spring core and either come out as is (eg latex mattress with latex core) or with combinations of materials such as Foam in combination with Memory Foam. They are mattresses that were later developed as a technology and belong to the category of anatomical mattresses. And there, depending on the materials or the density, it is adjusted how hard or soft such a layer will be.
